Street Glam Fashion Show in Silver Spring, MD

The first ever Street Glam Fashion Show held on Saturday, August 15th, 2009, presented in downtown Silver Spring, MD with a host of diversely beautiful and handsome models adorned in a mix of provocative and classic designs on an outdoor catwalk.

The event drew hundreds of enthusiastic onlookers that lined the streets and sidewalks to catch a glimpse of the season's offerings and cheer on their favorite models and designers!

The fashion show was only a portion of the Street Glam Fashion Event with major sponsors listed as GWFCC (Greater Washington Fashion Chamber of Commerce), Kustom Looks Clothiers, DC-50 Home of the CW, Evolutionary Man and Downtown Silver Spring. The entire event consisted of a fashion expo, two runway shows(Street and Glam), and a VIP Fashion Bash from 9pm to 12am. Korto Momolu,the international fashion designer who achieved fame while competing on the TV show Project Runway, attended the event! Her syle was flawless as usual.

Designers included Victor Rossi with local designer Kustom Looks Clothiers presenting the grand finale of precision tailored men's suits and the ever expanding offerings for women. The presentation included new additons from his Artomatic 2009 showing. Celebrity models included Doc (Rick) Walker, a former Washington Redskins and current radio co-host of The Locker Room with Doc Walker & Kevin Sheehan.
