Senator Ensign interviewed by Alan Stock

Yesterday, Alan Stock the morning host on KNXT 840 Las Vegas had an exclusive interview with Senator John Ensign (R-NV).

As you may recall, earlier this year Senator Ensign revealed having an affair with his friends wife Cindy Hampton, both the husband, Doug Hampton and his wife worked for Sen. Ensign.

Soon after the affair became public it was revealed through Ensign’s lawyer that Ensign’s parents paid $96,000 dollars in hush money to Doug Hampton and his wife Cindy. Ensign’s lawyer later said the money was a gift, not a payoff to keep quiet about the affair.

Alan Stock who is one of the few level headed right wing talking heads here in Las Vegas barely touched on the controversies that surround Senator Ensign.

Stock who had a full hour with Ensign on his show only devoted the first couple of minutes about the affair with Cindy Hampton. Stock also asked Ensign about the lobby job he found for Doug Hampton who later wound up lobbying the Senator, which is illegal.

The rest of the hour was devoted to Ensign talking about various issues such as health care while throwing jabs at democrats.

Alan Stock who only asked softball questions basically allowed Ensign to ramble for the entire interview, and Stock never asked Ensign about the $96,000 dollars that his parents gave the Hampton’s, or even the Christian cult whom Ensign lived with at the “C” street house whenever he was in Washington DC.

The only hardball question asked of Ensign was from a caller to the show near the end of the interview who asked Ensign why he voted for the TARP bill and No Child Left Behind.

Alan Stock had a good get with having Ensign on his show, but it was a waste of a good opportunity and a failure as far as interviews go.

You can listen to the entire interview on the link posted above.

Here is a video about John Ensign and the Christian Cult also know as "The Family" at the "C" Street House

When "Little Johnny" Ensign's Mom and Dad paid $96,000.00 to Doug and Cindy Hampton, the Hamptons we're changed from the senators assistant and his spouse to the Senators Pimp and Ho. So what questions could Alan Stock really ask; Tell me John just what does hundred thousand dollar pussy feel like? or Do you think your ho is better in the sack than Vitter's or Spitzer's ho? Probably just as well that Alan Stock avoided the subject.

Look, he said that having an affair with Cindy Hampton strengthened his marriage to his wife, Darlene. (No word from her yet on just how strong that affair made it.) It is obvious his actions were thus to "Protect Marriage" just like he wanted in the Constitution. What was his phrasing in that bill proposal???...."Get a mistress, strengthen Marriage."
