Dick Cheney no longer a chickenhawk, now just a chicken

Yesterday hours before President Obama spoke to the nation from West Point about his plans to send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan, former Vice President Dick Cheney had a few words of his own to say about President Obama.

During the interview from his home in Mclean, VA. the former VP continued to try and lay blame on the problems in Afghanistan onto the Obama administration.

For several months now Cheney has spoken out about President Obama and his policies that America will no longer torture, his closing of Guantanamo Bay and the time it took for President Obama to set his plan of action into play with regards to Afghanistan.

In the interview Cheney was asked if the Bush administration bears any responsibility for the disintegration of Afghanistan because of the attention and resources that were diverted to Iraq and Cheney said, “I basically don’t” .

The same Bush administration that started the war which is now in its ninth year. The same Bush administration that had Osama Bin Laden cornered and “within our grasp” and then did an about face into Iraq and allowed the man responsible for the attacks on September 11, 2001 to get away.

For eight years the Bush administration conducted the war policy in Afghanistan and allowed the Taliban and al-Qaeda to regroup and increase their numbers to the point where they are stronger than before the Bush/Cheney invasion.

And now this coward says that the Bush administration no longer bears and responsibility for the mess they created.

Dick Cheney approved of torture, he approved of the indefinite internment of detainees, he approved of the suspension of Habeas Corpus, he approved of outing a covert CIA agent out of spite for her husbands findings in Niger and he also ran his own personal assassination unit through the CIA.

Cheney is concerned with covering his tracks with his deflection speech’s and interviews against President Obama in order to protect his anterior superior spine. He is counting on President Obama and Attorney’s General Eric Holder to not go after him for his crimes against the United States and humanity.

Dick Cheney had no problems with using American troops as cannon fodder or throwing his own chief of staff, Scooter Libby under the bus in order to save his own miserable backside.

Cheney who received five deferments to avoid serving in the armed forces of the United States during the Vietnam war is truly un-American and a chicken who should have been tried for treason long ago.

Cheney and his toadie, George W., were the worst things to happen to this country in living memory. They alone are to blame for 9-11, losing bin Laden, the mess in Afganistan and Iraq, and the recent worldwide economic collapse. And for what? Their own personal agendas, their own maniacal egos. And now that they have been shown to the world for the diabolical, devious monsters they are, we are forced to listen to their mouthings in support of their treasonous actions.

Had anyone sounded off against the Bush Administration the way Cheney has against Obama's, I have no doubt Cheney would have secretly sought to have that person killed

Someone needs to take Cheney's dirty socks & shove them down his throat to shut this man up. He had 8 years of being 2nd in command to have his say, and basically was invisible for 8 years while the Sorcerer's apprentice (aka 'W') screwed up this country more than any other leader in our history. Now, all he wants to do is divert attention from all the failures of his administration as well as the Republican party by trying to blame all of our problems on the current administration, who has had to come in & try to clean up George's & Dick's mess. Cheney is pathetic. At least 'W' has enough common sense at this point to keep a low profile & hope people will forget about him.

Were it not for the perjury of Scooter Libby, "Little Dick" (thats what his wife calls him) that low life, bottom feeding, scum sucking, cod swallower, (thats what I call him) Cheney would be in prison now.

Wow. In response to the comments I've seen; did you happen to notice the slander leveled against a former vice-president of the U.S.? Not only in the article but also in your comments. All of you obviously think of yourselves as patriotic yet you level accusations and Democratically-biased lible against a former official of the White House. Ask yourselves other questions before you form unintelligent answers. Such as; Why has Obama and his "administration" not brought bin Laden to justice? Why is the war still underway and ramping up? Where is your money going during this "utopia" of Democrat control. -- Give me a break.

Bush, Cheney's putative ex-boss, promised that they'd get bin Laden "dead or alive." I suggest parachuting them both into eastern Afghanistan or western Pakistan to make good on their promise. After all, Bush risked life and limb in the Texas Air National Guard flying training missions over the shark-infested waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This should be a cakewalk for them. Just give Cheney a 12-gauge, all will be well.

    To Josh Sopher says:
It's not slander when it's the truth of a public official or ex=public official. If you want to talk slander, maybe you should consider all the lies he spews about President Obama.

GOPERS never could handle the truth. Get use to it because, "Reality has a well known liberal bias".

Bush / Cheney started 9/11....it was their doing. Hopefully this will be proven. They should both be hung for treason. For Cheney to be spouting off is a joke. What a POS pussy.
