Erin Barthel was born and raised in suburban Detroit. She attended University of Michigan for her undergrad and graduate degrees. Erin will focus will focus on Detroit politics, good, bad or otherwise from the Democrats perspective. She is now the Government Relations Coordinator for the Detroit Wayne County Health Authority.
