Zack Taylor, who had been accused of fabricating stories about Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas dating, is now hitting the circuits to defend his credibility.
On November 5, after weeks of rumors about a possible romance between Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas, Demi Lovato vehemently denied the rumors. She also used Twitter to chastise gossipers, saying "It's ufortunate that some people out there are so desperate for attention that they have to make up gossip to keep their site alive. But that's how this whole city works I guess. It just makes me sad that people are that mean in this world."
Yet Zack Taylor claims to have confirmation from Demi Lovato's mother, Dianna DeLaGarza, that her daughter and Joe Jonas were in fact dating, even posting screen caps of text messages from Dianna DeLaGarza as proof.
As Zack Taylor explains in a Kiss 92.5 interview, he had not intended to reveal his source, but that he was forced to when Demi Lovato and her mother threatened to deny the story (thereby undermining his credibility). In essence, he has accused Demi Lovato and her mother of lying to fans and destroying his reputation over the Joe Jonas story.
He also provides screen caps of numerous Twitter DMs from Demi Lovato who allegedly writes, "It made me so sad when she [Dianna] said 'so this is what I get for being nice to people.' Please don't do this to her. She doesn't deserve it at all!"

let them be! my god its demi and joe's business. Im a huge fan of them both but i wouldnt violate their privacy just to say, oh hey im right! thats being totally unfair to them and trying to undermine demi's word. its her private life and leave her alone, is zack that obsessed with demi and joe's "love life"? Are they a couple? Are they not? It's their business. I'm believing Demi's word that they are not, and even if she is lying, so be it. It's to protect herself. I completely understand.

What is Demi protecting by lying besides her mother? I think Zack is right when he asks for her to come forward and admit to her wrongs.
Demi seems to be lying, but her lies are up to a point understandable. She was only trying to defend her mother after she went BEHIND HER BACK about something that God knows if it's true.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time the Lovatos have had "encounters" with gossip sites. Hopefully they will learn their lesson after this.

Or the fact that she is trying to protect her mother, who I believe made a huge mistake by trusting an idiot like zack taylor who is just a perez hilton wannabe? The Jonas Brothers always deny who they are dating anyways, so has Demi. But who cares who they date. It should just be about their music, and for me Demi's music is great. I agree with Zack on this. Dianna should've understood that her daughter really needs privacy, and news about her should not be leaked.
The fact that any of this could be so easily fabricated and that Zack is just trying to make a name for himself proves to me that Demi is not lying. She has no reason to lie. She could just not say anything at all. Tons of people (regular people) have demonstrated just how easy it is to make all that "evidence" up. If Demi and Joe were dating - they wouldn't deny...they would either not say anything at all or they would just take the old excuses out of the Disney excuse Rolodex and say one of those. What Demi is saying is neither. BESIDES the fact that if they were dating, then it is GOING to come out and for her to say all of that stuff KNOWING that eventually people would discover it makes absolutely no sense at all. She may be young but she isn't stupid. I will believe her over any C list gossip blogger anyways.

The thing that will suck is if that demi and joe end up confirming they're in a relationship and then demi lied to everyone. That's so not cool. If your dating, cool; if your not, cool.
