Pat Robertson, who founded the school Virginia governor-elect Bob McDonnell graduated from and who contributed thousands of dollars to his campaign, said that Islam is not a religion but is a violent political system. When asked to disavow Robertson's anti-Islamic statement, McDonnell refused.
McDonnell said, “I’ve got probably 15,000 donors to the campaign and I can’t stand and defend or support every comment that any donor might make.”
If Robertson had said the same thing about Judaism as he did about Islam, would McDonnell's response have been the same? Would he not publicly disavow a statement that said Judaism is not a religion but is a violent political system? Whenever American Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan makes negative statements about Jews, politicians do not hesitate to condemn him.
It is true that Islam teaches violence and world domination which is morally wrong. However, so does Judaism. As just one example among many, Isaiah 60:10-12 has God saying that any nation that will not serve Israel will be "wasted". That is very threatening to all nations and to all Gentiles. Doesn't this statement make Judaism a "violent political system" just as Islam is?
The neoconservatives carry this desire for all people and all nations to serve Israel into the 21st century. Leo Strauss was the founder of the neoconservative movement and was a Jew who believed world society should be based on the Hebrew Bible. In the editor’s introduction to a collection of Strauss’ writings, Jewish Philosophy and the Crisis of Modernity, Kenneth Hart Green writes, “Strauss learned from Maimonides that religion is essential to any healthy political society, and certainly for the moral life of human beings. Over and above this, Maimonides convinced Strauss that Jewish religion, based on the Hebrew Bible, is most essential to ground a ‘genuine’ morality for almost every human being.” Doesn't this, coupled with actual teachings in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, reinforce Judaism as a "violent political system"? After all, the Hebrew Bible teaches that Gentiles are here to serve the Jews/Hebrews/Israel. And those who will not serve their masters will be "wasted".

Yeah, well, in this case Robertson was right - as was that rep from IL. Islam IS a savage religion, which is totally obvious from its bloody history and its horrible record of human rights violations we can see in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Maybe when you finally leave your Hut Dhimmi, you would realize you aren't suppose to control the way everyone lives, and force laws into land that you don't control or have power over.

Dear sir, I was with you until you said, "it is true that Islam teaches violence and world domination." If you truly believe that, then why are you criticizing the Governor elect?
Islam in no way allows violence, especially against the peaceful. Islam's only ambition is to establish freedom of religion and conscience throughout the world, and it only strives to do that through peace, love, dialogue, and understanding - never through force.
Surely someone such as yourself who is learned on numerous different religions can withstand the onslaught of anti-islamic propaganda. If you want a real example of what Islam is, learn it from Muslims who practice it peacefully. www.alislam.org
