The 2,000 year old Christian myth of faith-healing as taught in the Bible has reached through the ages and killed another innocent child. This time the parents who allowed faith-healing a place in their minds and homes were found guilty of criminally negligent homicide on February 3, 2010 in Clackamas County, Oregon.
Jeff and Marci Beagley's 16 year old son was suffering from a urinary tract infection. This could have been easily treated if the Beagleys had taken their son to a doctor as anyone who values and uses their God-given gift of reason would do. Unfortunately, instead of valuing and using what God has given them, they value what ancient and ignorant men have written, the Bible. The Bible teaches at Mark 16:17-18, among other places, the deadly fraud of faith healing. The Beagley's belief in this ungodly man-made nonsense brought about their son Neil's unnecessary death.
The Beagley's face 16 to 18 months in prison. Sentencing will be on February 18th. (That is just one day after the 410th anniversary of when the Christians ripped the tongue out of Giordano Bruno's mouth and then burned him alive for heresy.)
The Clearwater, Florida based World Union of Deists actively fight for children who are unfortunate enough to be born into a family that believes in the deadly myth of faith-healing. Their page, The Unacceptable Cost of "Revealed" Religion, makes this very clear.
A juror in the Beagley case noted that the Beagley's are not evil people. They just made a bad decision. He was right. The Beagley's never intended to hurt or kill their son. They just made a bad decision of putting the man-made Bible above their God-given reason.

Faith-healing is a tool of only certain denominations. Do not slay all Christians as withholding treatment from medical treatment in favor of prayer only.

Many religions are offshoots of another, New Thought was influenced by Buddhism, and other eastern religions. Must give credit to the Quimby teachings.New Thought and Nichiren Buddhsim are compatible as always were. Christian Science is itself a brook in the steady stream of new thought meanderings.
This is to PROPHETSALL. It's people like you that are dangers to the rest of us that are sane. If FAITH HEALING work we would not need doctors Just go to a christian and be healed. We have doctors because faith healing DOES NOT WORK! I do believe in a creator just not your nonsense.It's time you chistians get with
reality stop killing your kids over faith healing.
