Are you a young DC Jew interested in social justice and tikkun olam? Local organization Jews United for Justice has teamed up with the Progressive Jewish Alliance to offer The Jeremiah Fellowship, so named for a verse in that Neviim book of the Bible: "And seek the well-being of the city in which you dwell... for in its peace you shall find peace. Taking place over nine months, the fellowship features conversations with Washington, DC Jewish and social justice leaders, community-building projects, and study of Jewish texts pertaining to these topics. The goal is to take what you learn and implement it in the larger world, so theyre especially interested in young leaders or those who exhibit passion for social justice.
