Donald "Don" Baxter joined Examiner.com in 2012, and reports on news and events in Washington, D.C. He regularly covers the District of Columbia Government and D.C. Council. His background includes news and event photography and he has served as chief photographer for Media Images International, LLC. He is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA). As a former Special Agent with the D.C. Office of Inspector General (OIG), Don investigated waste, fraud and abuse within the governement. He was born and raised in the District of Columbia.
