Located less than an hour from DC in Bluemont, Virginia, this elegant estate will host twenty local wineries, including Chrysalis Vineyards, Fabbioli Cellars, and Hidden Brook Winery. The tasting begins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10th, and continues Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Tickets are $30; this cost includes one evening of wine tastings and a souvenir wine glass. Designated drivers will receive free soft drinks. Add a buffet dinner of grilled chicken, beef barbecue, cole slaw, potato salad, and key lime pie for an additional $24, or purchase a Vintner's Box box with a picnic dinner for $14. For $100, you can purchase festival admission and dinner for two at the Manor House, or you can splurge on the $775 Grand Cru Package for you and nine of your closest friends. This executive level package includes admission, hors d'oeuvres, a dinner buffet, four bottles of wine, and a reserved table at the festival. During the festival, wine can also be purchased by the glass, bottle, or case.
