It would appear there is yet another casualty of the downfall of publisher Midway. This Is Vegas, an open-world game based around one mans efforts to keep Vegas from becoming a family-friendly tourist trap, appears to have been canceled by new owners Warner Bros. Interactive. This comes from GameStop, who earlier today sent out messages to people who preordered the game that it had been canceled. Also telling is that in the last couple of days the game has been completely removed from the GameStop website.
Hopefully this turns out to be incorrect, as This Is Vegas looked to be a very enjoyable game. However, it appears that gamers should expect a bit less sin in their future.
