On Tuesday, November 17 Lisa Ling delivered a special report on women, erotica, and pornography on Oprah. The report delved into the popularity of erotica and pornography among women citing a statistic that said one of out three online pornography viewers is a woman. Oprah also sat down with famed porn star Jenna Jameson.
Jameson has set herself apart from many other women in the porn industry. She started her own company, appeared on the Forbes list, and wrote a NY Times bestseller, "How to Make Love Like a Porn star." When she set out to become a star she did so with the goal of becoming the #1 porn star in the world. She just wanted to do it with dignity. She said she was only with around 3 or 4 men outside of her marriage. In fact, for 6 years of her career she was making films with her husband, Jay Grdina who helped her start her multi-million dollar business.
Today, Jameson is retired from the porn industry and is a stay-at-home-mom. She is divorced from her former on and off screen partner, Jay Grdina, and after years of trying to conceive, she had twins with UFC champion Tito Ortiz. Jameson said she doesn't care what people think of her, but she does care about how people will judge her children because "once a porn star, always a porn star."
