Review:
The Marriott Fairfield Inn is a Flagstaff Arizona Hotel that is convenient to everything. You can see NAU’s white dome from the hotel, you can easily drive down Route 66 to Heritage Square, shops and restaurants. And, you can easily drive up to Mars Hill and visit Lowell Observatory.
The hotel is right off I-17/89A yet, since the entranceway is up a slight incline, you don’t feel like you are staying on an interstate.
The pool was clean and mid-size. There is also a hot tub with a view of the mountains. Towels provided at poolside.
The rooms are typical hotel size and are comfortable. The A/C is not central but is thermostat controlled. Some rooms have a refrig/microwave but mine did not. Ice is available on the first floor.
The bed was extremely comfortable. I was there on a holiday weekend and the hotel was filled with traveling families yet I slept well and wasn’t aware of noise. The hotel was in a great location for families who are traveling to the Grand Canyon. There is so much family fun in Flagstaff and in the surrounding area.
The breakfast was more than adequate with tons of choices. You could have waffles, cereal, fruit and yoghurt or try something different for a hotel – microwaveable quiche or Jimmy Dean’s breakfast biscuits. The hotel has a pleasant breakfast room.
I enjoyed the convenience and comfort of the Marriott Fairfield Inn in Flagstaff and would certainly return.
