If you haven’t been to Uptown Charlotte lately then you are truly missing a treat. The EpiCenter is the perfect social gathering place for the kid inside every adult. It’s packed with fun and adventure; a meeting spot for friends, and a great place to meet new ones.

Grab your pals and dance all night at Club Suite, sing along as the Howl at the Moon piano bar staff serenades you with all sorts of musical selections (they take requests all night long), grab a bite to eat, have a drink and bowl all in one place, Strike City.

The EpiCenter could not be complete without the “1000 stadium seat, state-of-the art technology multi-screen luxury movie theater complex,”—EpiCentre Theatres. The theater has five screens showing the lasted films, and if you would like more than just popcorn and candy while watching a movie then purchase a cocktail or appetizers from the adjacent restaurant/bar/lounge, Mez. How cool is that? A few special theater features are: after 7 p.m. admittance is 21 years old or over; movie patrons can select VIP seating and purchase tickets online up to a week prior to visiting; this venue validates parking in the underground garage.

There are several other shops and restaurants in the EpiCenter including Cold Stone Creamery, Five Guys, CVS, Bank of America, and more. You can even host your own party of any kind at the rooftop Pavilion which has a great view of the city. The possibilities are endless of how much fun you can have under one roof, or lack thereof at the EpiCenter. You can’t experience it all in one night, thus there’s definitely a reason to return again and again.

All the action is located at 210 Trade Street, Charlotte, NC. Keep it simple by parking in the deck below for easy access into the indoor/outdoor center. There is also a hotel atop the Epicenter, Aloft. I haven’t had the opportunity to stay there…yet, but I’ve heard it is absolutely fabulous. I must, well, we must check it out soon.
