Phil, who has a background in software engineering and ballroom dance instruction, took over ProGuildSocial in 2006. He saw it as an opportunity to combine his interest in music, dance, and the use of technology to help others meet new people. His guiding principle is “How can I make ProGuildSocial more engaging?”
ProGuildSocial.com has a free social networking site for singles to mingle online. Members post profiles, flirt, write blogs and share photos. When they meet one another at an event, they feel familiar with each other. Phil also sponsors group chats every week, holds contests and gives free raffle tickets to those who invite friends to events.
