UPDATE: Sheree Whitfield's Sandy Springs house seen on The Real Housewives of Atlanta went into foreclosure and sold in May for $1.1 Million Dollars. Now before you feel that is an excellent price, the original purchase price was $2.4 million dollars only 9 years ago.
And don't think that the house was a "clean" sell. Nope! According to the real estate agent for the property, Costa Panos, the home was stripped. In other words, furniture, light fixtures and appliances were stolen. There are even pictures that prove the allegations of theft "by stripping". And the story gets even better. Apparently, Sheree is saying that her "acquaintance not friend" stole the property and she has proof including snapshots of this acquaintance who calls herself a business consultant. The woman was identified as Sheila Rashad. Whitfield says the damage teeters around the $200K mark.
Taping of Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta took place in April and May of 2009. Sheree is part of the cast and says that she has downsized her living quarters however, the children haven't been uprooted from their old school system.

The Real Houswewives of Atlanta will be so much more intriguing if they keep the same cast members as this past first season.
From the first day we say the promos headlining the five women, we knew it was going to be entertaining drama. But, I think Bravo TV outdid themselves this time with keeping the buzz of its "new baby" shelf life.
Show's premise: Bravo TV took five well-to-do women who live in the Atlanta area and showed off their pricey lifestyles.
Housewife cast member Sheree Whitfield had said that she was hoping for divorce settlement from Bob Whitfield in the amount of seven figures. Sheree made sure to let the viewer hear and see her extravagance from purchasing $6,000 shoes to commenting that she doesn't know what "having a budget" means. In one show she hinted that she left Bob Whitfield because he was insecure and she didn't want to be a man's everything. Well.... SCREEEEECH! Put on the brakes.

The ex-wife of a former Atlanta Falcons football player is appealing a Fulton County court’s refusal to grant her alimony and a new trial. Under a 2003 pilot project, the high court has agreed to review all challenges to final divorce decrees that are not deemed frivolous.
FACTS: Bob and Sheree Whitfield separated after three years of marriage in 2003 and divorced after seven in 2007. They have two children, who were 8 and 11 at the time of the divorce.
Bob Whitfield, 36, is a recently retired NFL player who once played for the Atlanta Falcons. Sheree Whitfield currently appears on the popular reality TV show, “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
The trial court awarded her custody of the children and $2,142.87 a month in child support. It also awarded her a division of the marital property totaling more than $1.1 million and including a lump sum payment of $775,000. It gave her half of the marital portion of three NFL retirement plans. But the court did not award alimony.
The court awarded him nearly all the real estate, including four homes, and the recording studio, Patchwerks, which he founded. Her lawyers moved for a new trial over the denial of alimony. The lower court denied the motion, and she now appeals to the Supreme Court.
ARGUMENTS:
Her attorneys argue that based on her lack of education and inability to earn income, the court abused its discretion by not awarding alimony and then ordering her and the children out of their $2.6 million home in Sandy Springs.
Under state law, the trial court must consider a number of factors in determining the amount of alimony, including the standard of living established during the marriage, the duration of the marriage, the financial resources of each party and the time necessary for a party to acquire sufficient education and training to get a job.
Her ex-husband not only received an $8 million signing bonus as part of a $30 million six-year contract, but he is also a sophisticated businessman with investment properties in Costa Rica, California and Atlanta, as well as founder and owner of a “world-class” recording studio, from which he draws $50,000 annually.
To enhance his earning power, he has returned to Stanford University. She, on the other hand, has devoted her time to raising the couple’s two young children. The clothing boutique she managed for a brief time, “Bella Azul,” quickly failed under her management and oversight, her attorneys point out. With only a high school degree, she depended on her husband, with whom she had been in a relationship for 14 years.
Despite her lack of education, marketable job skills and employment prospects, the court wrongly denied her alimony, even though her husband’s monthly income is almost 12 times her. The failure to award alimony is also contrary to the best interests of the children, her attorneys contend. Without alimony, she cannot afford to buy another home in the neighborhood where they have grown up, have friends and go to school.
His attorney argues that even though the marriage was “very short-term,” she was awarded 48 percent of the marital estate and a part of three retirement plans. Alimony is authorized but not required under state law, and the trial court did not abuse its discretion by not awarding any to her.
“The trial court left no stone unturned in regard to determining the assets and incomes of the parties,” his lawyer argues in the briefs. From the divorce, she receives a total yearly income of $113,422. In addition, she gets a portion of three NFL retirement programs. His attorney argues she should be fined $2,500 for bringing a frivolous appeal solely for the purpose of delaying the time when she’ll have to vacate the Sandy Springs home.
Yes you read it right, Sheree Whitfield's lawyers called her uneducated and lacking marketable skills! She will receive roughly 114K per year plus $2,142.82 per month for child support. She will get part of his retirement plan when Bob reaches retirement age.

My husband and I are both on our second marriage. We've been together for 18 years and have been married for 16 years. We never ka-noodled or violated any laws of the land or of the church. Ethically, morally, and in reality, we were straight players. No funny business behind anyone's back. And, we are as happy as can be! (I guess we got the frist mistakes out of the way).
However, my husband's ex collects 2/3 of his paycheck every payday. And, we have to pay for all her legal fees when she wants to see if she can get more. She lives in Florida and owns four houses off our backs. We've paid off her first house's mortgage and I guess until the day she dies.. (I can't wait, and hope it is painful), we are going to pay her way through a great life.

Its true that Sheree should have gotten some higher education while raising children, the average women married or single does it every day with little of no income. Don't take the language in the petition to heart. The attorney is paid to put this show together and to win! Sheree needs to realize she may be on a reality show, but her life is real, and she should do what she has to make HER money. Stay on the show, go to back to school, so she can educate herself to get a clothing line going. She is the most fake housewife that there is on the show. Obviously cant live like the others, unless she marries again (someone rich). Also says she has another child? Unless "Housewives" keep her she will be out of income soon, due to her spending.
