The internet radio show "Date Smarter, Not Harder" discusses videotaped gang rapes and amused bystanders on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time on BlogTalkRadio. Advice columnist Deborrah Cooper and a panel of experts will investigate the shocking increase in the numbers of gang rapes taking place worldwide.

The show will examine the mentality of an individual that would willingly participate in such a vicious crime, as well as reasons why these crimes are being videotaped for later enjoyment. Why is it that not one of the witnesses has ever stepped forward to intervene on behalf of the victim?

Is this truly what our society has become?

Guest panelists on this broadcast include:

  • Psychotherapist, author and relationships expert Dr. Joyce Morley-Ball (www.doctorjoyce.com);
  • Ben Atherton-Zeman, spokesperson for the National Organization for Men Against Sexism (www.nomas.org) and a public speaker on issues of violence prevention;
  • Carole Bartholomeaux (www.b-pr.com), one of the founders of the Center Against Sexual Assault, the first rape crisis organization in the Greater Phoenix area;
  • Melody Brooke, MA, LPC, LMFT (www.ohwowthischangeseverything.com); and
  • The Rockstar of Seduction, Eric Von Sydow, author of the soon to be released book "Metawhore" (www.hypnotica.org); and
  • Wendell Watkins Sr. (www.youvestigate.com), who retired from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) in Washington, D.C., as Deputy Chief of Police with more than 30 years of experience. Chief Watkins also served as commander of the Washington D.C. Sex Offense Branch for five years and is the author of "You Vestigate, Don't Speculate."

This is a live, call-in format show and we welcome your thoughts, ideas and experiences during the broadcast. Listeners are invited to call 347-327-9215 during the show or to participate in the show chat by logging onto http://www.blogtalkradio.com/askheartbeat.
