ET Online is speculating that NFL legend Lawrence Taylor could be one of the celebrity contestants set to trip the light fantastic on Season 8 of Dancing With the Stars.
None other than Ashton Kutcher actually let the information out on his Twitter feed after meeting Taylor Saturday at a pre-Super Bowl party in Tampa, Fla.
“Just met LT, the old school, Lawrence Taylor,” Kutcher posted on his feed. “Expect to see him in prime time soon. Can't say where but he better work on his footwork.”
Taylor would be the latest in a long list of NFL stars who’ve danced on DWTS. NFL great Emmitt Smith actually took home the DWTS trophy in Season 3, and one of my favorites, the cuddly Warren Sapp, was one of the final two last season. The handsome Jason Taylor was among the final three in Season 6, and Jerry Rice competed on DWTS, making the final two.
The new season of DWTS premieres March 9, but ABC is now saying that the new cast will be announced on Sunday, Feb. 8.
