If the couples thought two dances were tough, how about three? And a solo during the Latin dance. Below is a comparison of how the surviving couples did on the dances to be performed during week 9.
Going into week 9, the couples and their dances:
Mya and Dmitry Chaplin: waltz, salsa, paso doble
Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough: Viennese waltz, cha cha cha, salsa
Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel: quickstep, rumba, cha cha cha
Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson: tango, samba, jitterbug.
Mya and Dmitry Chaplin: waltz, salsa, paso doble (?)
Mya and Chaplin already performed a Viennese waltz during week 1 for 21 points.
Of the remaining contestants, only Krupa and Hough have performed the waltz (week 6 for a 26).
Osmond and Johnson haven't performed a salsa as an individual dance, but they won their relay. Osbourne and Van Amstel recently earned a 24 (week 7), but Krupa and Hough earned the same score earlier (week 1) and at this stage, Osbourne and Van Amstel should have done better.

The quickstep is a killer. It's a dance that requires stamina and Krupa and Hough weren't up to it. You'd expect Osbourne and Van Amstel to do as well if not better than Osmond and Johnson. Osbourne and Van Amstel did well on the fast-moving jive (26 during week 8). In this case, Osbourne and Van Amstel should be better than Krupa and Hough.

Osmond and Johnson performed the Argentine tango during week 5 and were on Team Tango during week 7. He should do fine with this dance. Only Osbourne and Van Amstel have performed tango of this group (week 2, 19).
Last week, Mya and Chaplin were the samba royalty, scoring a perfect 30. Osmond and Johnson probably won't get a perfect score. Osmond and Johnson will be dancing the samba to Osmond's hit "One Bad Apple."

Unlike Mya and Donny , Joanna is not a professional performer. Still she has the 2nd highest over all score and by far the most exciting personality, takes risks, was the least known, has built a huge fanbase during the show and allows the audience to connect with her.
She should win.
No.
Donny should win, he has not done ballroom and unlike the others has delivered each dance well and with personality. Mya goes through the steps techinally like the pro dancer she is, but seems like she would rather be somewhere else. Joanna just can't get her feet and legs to do what she wants. Kelly while is enjoyable to watch just doean't add the wow. OF course, those are simply my opinion, each will have their own.
Mya has suffered bruise after bruise after bruise and among other injuries but she does not quit do you know why? because she is a winner and she puts everything she has all fear all emotion into her dances and gives everything she has from her heart and i admire her so much that i think she should win...her and dmitry should win.. of course im not sayin tha other couples dont get hurt but their is somethin really genuine about mya and i think she really should win this...
Doesn't anyone wonder if Joanna's fanbase is predominately located in the Playboy mansion?
The dances you have the couples doing doesn't match what I've heard they're doing. Maybe you should check your source?
Boo!! Kelly is the weakest dancer and should go IMO. I really think Aaron should be there instead of her. Very flat footed and blank expression and just not good. Especially at this stage--another uncoordinated person--if she stays she is with out a doubt 3rd--no question.
I would love to see Mya, Donny and Kelly in the finals, with Mya and Donny in the top two.
