You might not remember Bobby McFerrin who is most famous for his 1988 song "Don't Worry, Be Happy." Watching the video again, it really has a message for today. McFerrin has won 10 Grammy Awards and appeared last night on the a cappella group competition reality show, "The Sing-Off."
McFerrin won his first Grammy in 1985 for Best Jazz Vocal Performance, male, for "Another Night in Tunisia" with Jon Hendricks. His most recent Grammy was in 1992 for Best Jazz Vocal Performance for "Round Midnight." His "Don't Worry, Be Happy" was reportedly the first number one hit that was a cappella.
