Future 2009 Dancing With The Stars cast member Mark Dacascos was born in Hawaii and is a martial arts instructor. His big break, has been delayed--he starred in the 1995 French/Canadian/Japanese action film, "Crying Freeman," but the movie was never released in the United States.

The film was based on the graphic novel by Kazuo Koike and Ryoichi Ikegami. Cacascos met his wife who also starred. From the video below, you'll know that Dacascos is totally a guy you'd like to see with his shirt off (like Gilles Marini).
Dacascos was also in "Brotherhood of the Wolf," a 2001 French movie inspired by serial killings during the 18th century. Check out the video on his Web site.
Dacascos can handled intricate choreography, do stunts, is limber and has fast feet and knows how to create a little drama. He should be a contender for the title if he can get the votes to remain in contention. He also looks great in a suit (good for ballroom).
Age: 45
Born: 26 February 1964
Famous: Since 2005, Dacascos has been the chairman on the "Iron Chef America." He's done small parts in movies such as the 1992 "American Samurai," and like Chuck Liddell, he was in "Cradle 2 the Grave."
