Dancing with the Stars finale was fun last night although it went off without any major stumbles (except Kelly ended up on the floor once). There weren't any Marie Osmond type what-were-you-thinking numbers. Mya was the strongest in the judges’ eyes, but fans may want to vote for the most compelling story of ragtime to riches. Mya said, “That trophy is mine.” Reminding some viewers of Daffy Duck’s singular focus, “It’s mine. Mine. All mine. I can’t help it I’m greedy.” But Mya full of grace, rhythm, beauty and “fire-a” worked hard for the mirrorball.

She ended up with a 27 out of 30 points to best Donny Osmond by three points. She and her partner Dmitry Chaplin received perfect 10s for their Paso doble to “We Will Rock You.” This music has been used many times before in previous shows including So You Think You Can Dance, but it worked.

Osmond was a contender with his beautiful partner Kym Johnson. They ended up with 85 out of 90 points. Len Goodman loved their Broadway freestyle and called it a “show-stopper.” They came in second in the magamix challenge only bested by Mya and Dimitry. He garnered more laughs by sharing that his sister would rub this in his face for a lifetime, so he wanted to win the coveted mirrorball. With his strong fan base he could pull off an upset.

Kelly Osbourne has been transformed on this show and is currently in third place. She looked healthy and slim as they danced their “I Will Survive” freestyle. Of course there was the missed connection and she ended up on the floor—all smiles. Bruno had the best comment, “Sometimes people fell on the floor” while dancing disco. She gave an upbeat performance throughout despite dancing on painful feet. She revealed that she’ll need surgery on her bunions after this show. She exceeded her own expectations on Dancing with the Stars. Her story and personality captured the fans’ imaginations. She’s like the little dancer who could and the viwers enjoyed watching her each week. Tonight the winner of Dancing with the Stars will be crowned.
