Heather Morris of "Glee" master classes

Heather Morris, or better known as "Brittany" the blonde cheerleader on Glee, is holding three workshops here in Buffalo at the Performing Arts Academy. Morris auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance but didn't make the top 20. Everything happens for a reason, and that cut brought her to be a backup dancer for Beyonce's 2007 International Tour. She has had a few small acting gigs prior to Glee, but you have probably seen her perform in Beyonce's promotional tour for her hit single "Single Ladies."

Her first class will be held on Monday, December 28, from 7-8:30 pm. This will be a Theater Jazz Workshop for ages 11+ and costs $30. She will teach choreography from the show Glee and will also talk about her experiences, answer questions, take pictures and give autographs.

Morris will also hold two Hip Hop classes on Wednesday, December 30. The first class will take place from 5-6:30 pm for ages 7-11. The cost is $30. The second class is for ages 12+ and is $40, taking place from 7-9 pm. In these workshops, Morris will be teaching choreography from different Beyonce performances, and will again answer questions, take pictures, and give autographs.

At each workshop, writer Tim O'Shei will also be in attendance. O'Shei is a writer for Dance Spirit Magazine and will talk about his recently published book, Live! Starring...You!
