Evette is a 38 year young wife and mother who enjoys people and "thinking outside the box". She is a dance enthusiast and has been doing high-level step aerobics & modern dance for the last 7 years, even performing in several local recitals. She believes it is extremely important that all people, all ages, have an outlet to creatively & physically express themselves: In other words, to "just be" & to "let loose". A strong supporter of healthy activities for young people, especially in the black & inner city community, Ms. Matthews is currently sponsoring afterschool dance classes for children ages 5-15 in her community and will soon be sponsoring adult dance classes. Ms. Matthews holds a B.S in Sociology from Towson University; an M.A in Medical Sociology from UMBC; and certifications in Signal Communications (U.S. Army) and Public Health (U.S Air Force Reserves).
