A native to the Hampton Roads area Katina has been dancing since a young child. Beginning with ballet and on to tap classes in Newport News. Her love for Middle Eastern Dance began while stationed in Southwest Harbor, Maine in 2001 and continued when she returned home to Hampton Roads. With over 8 years experience in the Middle Eastern genre Katina continues to learn, teach and perform through out the area in several dance genres including Praise Dance, Hula and Bollywood. Graduating from Johnson and Wales University with an AAS in Applied Sciences in Culinary Arts in 2000, Katina's studies focused on knowledge of history and culture of food as well as nutrition.
