Sources on Valley Ranch say that wide receiver Miles Austin is likely to get a second-round tender for his restricted free agency, and there may be a team interested in taking him.
As no surprise, it's Bill Parcell's Miami Dolphins. The Cowboys gave up their entire top draft picks, 1st and 3rd, and a 6th, to acquire Roy E. Williams. If they could get a second rounder for Austin, they might just pull the trigger. Here are his numbers for 2008:

Nothing incredibly, but those 13 catches were usually clutch catches, kind of like many back up tight ends make. Plus, he was never really used as a deep threat with the Cowboys.

Austin has a knack for getting open on big plays and in the end zone. Keep him.
I prefer the Cowboys keep him but give him more opportunities. I wonder if he is better than Crayton and could be the third receiver.
I dont think there is any way Parcells give a 2nd round pick for an accomplished wide-out. Parcells is a Football genius not Vinny Cerato. Lets hope the Boys stack up the team and make it deep in the playoffs.. the story is becoming more like the Redskins story year after year, excuse after excuse!

Again unaccomplished wide-out excuse me. Good player not a 2nd rounder....yet!
