Is Patrick Crayton trying to lose his job?

Some may have been baffled when the Dallas Cowboys gave third wide receiver Patrick Crayton a $19 million contract this past season, but the injury and subsequent loss of Terry Glenn sort of predicted his future in silver and blue.

Crayton, who got a lot of blame for the New York Giants playoff loss, has just eight catches for 105 yards in three games this year. His impact has been very little since week one. He had no catches, and one drop, in the game against the Packers.

So what gives? Wasn't Crayton supposed to be the guy coming into this season with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove?

Crayton better watch his back because there's a kid right behind him named Miles Austin who did show up last night.

Austin's two catches for 115 yards and a touchdown caught the attention of a lot of teams, coaches and fans. He did it on prime-time cable television. His touchdown catch was especially sexy in football terms. Is it only a matter of time before Crayton's fate changes?

I have a perfect idea: Trade him to the Seattle Seahawks, who are dying for wide outs. Who could the Cowboys get from the Seahawks?
