Herm Edward predicts Dallas Cowboys will be team to beat in 2010

Herm Edward, one of the crappier coaches ever to head a NFL team, is predicting that the Dallas Cowboys will be the team to beat in 2010. Herm also said the NY Jets will be very good.

I am sure there will be quite a few people who will say the Cowboys have the best chance to make it to the Super Bowl in 2011.

His prediction is interesting only because never has a team played a Super Bowl in their home stadium. The Dallas Cowboys have that chance next season because the big game will be in Cowboys Stadium.

Imagine that? A Super Bowl team getting home field advantage.

The Cowboys certainly have the talent to do better next season. Tony Romo had his best year as a Cowboys and showed some maturity this year. The defense became one of the better ones in the NFC. The offense did well even though Roy Williams wasn't doing much for the team. Miles Austin exploded. Jason Witten continued to play well and the Cowboys have three very good running backs. The components for a championship team are there.

What else do the Cowboys need to win it all?

A real coach. Wade's a nice guy and fine DC but not a HC.

I think we need another Soild DL Possibly a NT like Shaun Rogers or Draft Cody, Ratliff could get kicked out to DE, he's fast enough, plus it would help out Spencer or Ware, Since a Huge NT will require 2 OL to eat them up. I also think another WR or 2, possibly some vets that have hands ie Holt. We've made killer strides this year, with the D stepping it up, getting a play off win and the monkey off our back as well as Romo showing some real leadership.
