‘Twas the night before Obamacare and all through the house
Harry Reid was stirring his pork and his sows
Louisiana was bribed, 100 million for one vote
While citizens gasped and clenched at their throat
Republicans cowered outnumbered by far
While Democrats were bargaining, putting cash in their jar
Their goal to bring health care down to its knees
The blue dog dems they would need to appease
A health care system admired by all
Soon would be taking a very big fall
And we the people would not have a say
They'll pass that damn bill we don't like anyway
And how can we pay for this terrible bill?
We asked of the tyrants on Capitol Hill
They said we will steal from the taxes we'll endorse
It all in the plans of our socialist course
You may not like it but you voted him in
And now you will take it square on the chin
Not if we can stop it for it's not yet too late
To voice our opinions outside of their gate
Off I will go to protest in the morn
And give them a piece of my anger and scorn
And we the people soon will be heard
By casting our votes to silence their words
