Brothers Andy and Frank Schleck and world time trial titlist Fabian Cancellara will lead Saxo-Bank in the Tour de France with the Danish team's roster so strong Olympic time trial silver medalist Gustav Larsson is only an alternate.
Larsson won the final time trial stage at the Giro d’Italia last month, but climbing Chris-Anker Sorensen was chosen instead.
The Schleck brothers will both be in overall title contention.
Fränk Schleck, fifth last year in the Tour de France, last week claimed the Tour of Switzerland. Andy Schleck, the younger brother, has not raced as strongly this year as last year. But last year's overall Tour de France runner-up is expected to challenge pre-race favorite Alberto Contador, the defending and two-time race titlist.
Cancellara, in the midst of his best season, will be favored to win the prologue July 3 in Rotterdam.
