Ron Cyger has found a unique creative outlet for his 25-year interest in pro cycling.
Cyger has combined his cycling passion with savvy technology knowledge and developed a pop quiz application about the event for the Apple iPhone/iPod Touch.
"I have been into cycling since the days of Phinney (Davis not Taylor), when the U.S. Cycling Federation required black shorts and white socks," said Cyger. "I became interested in the Tour de France and bicycle racing (like many in the U.S.) with the 7-Eleven Cycling Team and Greg LeMond. I currently belong to the Pasadena Athletic Association, my local bike club (www.paacycling.org).
"Everyone is into trivia, and I wanted to create a quiz that challenges Tour knowledge and helps you appreciate the Tour more. I hope the questions spur more interest in the Tour and bicycle racing history."
