Jonathan Vaughters, the former pro and now many year CEO and director of the Garmin-Slipstream team, was the featured guest at the recent annual NorCal HS MTB League's "CycleFest" gala last in Mill Valley, California
With Bob Cullinan, owner of the web site www.cycleto.com, conducted a one-hour Q&A with Vaughters that covered a wide variety of topics — drugs in the sport to cycling's future stars.
In one segment, Vaughters discussed the used of drugs during his tenure as a rider.
"Doping was matter of fact...that's just the way it was," says Vaughters about 2 minutes and 40 second into the video clip. "And I don't exempt myself from that statement."
