Paul Murray, an avid cyclist, is currently blogging, and cycling, his way towards pre-qualification of the 1200km Paris-Brest-Paris bike ride in France, 2011. He is linking up with other hopeful qualifiers in New Jersey, mainly due to a lack of hills on Long Island. Most of the time, he can be found weaving between the potholes that grace the dedicated bike lanes of Suffolk County, and making endless loops in Port Jefferson as he searches for roads with gradients.
