What attracted me to All Saints, the British IT label, at 910 Lincoln Road Mall, Miami Beach, were the hundreds of sewing machines all over the store. The two front showroom windows are stacked with them, literally. It reminded me of my grandmother who worked as a seamstress for so many years.
As you enter the store, you get a feel of history from the building alone, with the industrial feel and exposed brick walls. The ceilings consists of large, Hollywood lights and the fixtures are industrial machines, including a large broom-making machine right in the center of the large 8000 square foot space. Gothic clubwear, dramatic sparkly clothing and platform heels are on sale throughout. London-chic silks and leathers are featured. UK sizes are the name of the game, so it's all feels very European, as if you are in the Eastend of London. Men and women are catered to at All Saints.
Jeans include Carson Texel, File Runner, Moonshine. Shoes include Leotie and Rosalina Heels.
The experience is as enjoyable as the shopping.
