Despite the biased media's attempt to paint a negative picture of Sarah Palin, her recent public appearances, including Oprah's, have served to convince Americans that she really is a pretty down-to-earth, very intelligent lady.  She is, despite the constant attacks, becoming more and more popular with the American public.

Her popularity, however, doesn't revolve solely around her political views.  People are beginning to see that she is "real".  She is not the "air-head" that the media has tried to portray.

Left-wing idealogues will never embrace her, even if it benefits them,  - even so-called "feminists" who turned their backs even on Hillary Clinton, as well as Palin - simply because they're blinded by hateful, intolerant ideology.  It's ridiculous.

The so-called advocates of "tolerance" are really the most intolerant.  They despise Christians.  They despise their own country.  They despise their own history.  They hate free speech.  They're the ones forcing everyone else to put up with their political temper tantrums.

However, this brief appearance on a show, typically, embraced by independents and liberals, reflects a passionate embrace and welcoming of the real Sarah Palin.

Americans know she is not the "lunatic" the media has tried to label her as.  She's a conservative, American woman with America's best interests in mind.

Even if Palin never runs for public office again, her influence will be extremely beneficial to America.  Her role in helping to shape public opinion in our democratic society is invaluable and she's got tons of support from Americans.

There is no doubt she is helping the conservative movement in this country.  Hey, how about a Dobbs-Palin ticket?  Or Palin-Dobbs?  It's something to think about.

All of you haters out there...wake up!  Snap out of the magic spell that has been cast upon you.

Embrace Sarah Palin, elected official or citizen Jane.  Embrace America not international globalism.  Work to build America up not sell it off to the international community who's ultimate goal is to see it disappear.

By the way, what happened to all of those who mocked then-Governor Palin, Vice-presidential candidate, for being "inexperienced"?  How is Obama looking now as The President?  The one who constantly shook his finger at the previous administration for doing everything wrong?

What is he doing now?  How is he handling America's business?  As Michael Savage and others have alluded to, Obama doesn't seem to be qualified to even run a hot-dog stand and he's in charge of America's economy?  We're in big trouble my friends.  This is not to say that President Bush left him everything set on a silver platter.  Obama was handed a mess from the beginning, but he campaigned to win this job.

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

He set out to convince the American people that he was the best choice.  He had all of the answers.  He spoke commandingly as an outsider, but was he really the best option?

Let's hope that next time we All pull our heads out of our rear ends and vote for someone who can actually run the country, (Democrat, Independent, Republican; doesn't matter) as opposed to throwing out votes for anybody who speaks eloquently and happens to sell everything that is "anti-Bush".

Democrat, Independent, or Republican, if he/she has America's best interests in mind; if he/she stands up for America rather than apologize for America; if he/she knocks off of their high-horses the parasitic special interest groups ruling America and rotting it at its core; then we've got the right candidate.

Seriously - you HAVE to stop calling it the "liberal" media! It shows your bias and makes you MUCH less credible as a journalist. Can't you simply report what you've read or heard? Although...you did spell "appearances" wrong in your first sentence...so maybe the "journalist" label should be dropped all together? Maybe that's too severe, since your 6th paragraph did show some journalistic integrity. Try that for the rest and you're on your way...

Diane, thank you for the advice. It's nice that you care about my "journalistic" integrity. Just a reminder though: I'm not a journalist. I could care less about journalistic "credibility". I'm just a regular Nobody, an American at the bottom of the barrel, just expressing and sharing his views based on what I see...In this case, a very warm welcome of Palin by the Tonight Show audience. People are liking her more and more. That's all I'm saying here. God bless you sister.

0prah's viewership went from about 6 million to 14 million when Palin appeared. Thousands of people have spent the night in sub-freezing, and sometimes below 0 temps just to get a few seconds with her. When Palin was at College of the Ozarks the auditorium held 4,000 people, but they had to open another auditorium that held an additional 1,000. She'll be addressing the Salinas KS Chamber of Commerce on Feb 5th, when the announcement she was coming was made, their website crashed due to the heavy traffic and inquiries about tickets. They have now sold 5,000 tickets, another maximum capacity crowd, the biggest in their history.

Going Rogue is poised to break all records for a political memoir, leaving the Clintons, Obama, and Ted Kennedy in the dust.

The bidding on Palin's red jacket, the one she wears on the covedr of Going Rogue is being auctioned for charity, and is already up to $36,000, with 5 days left in the auction.

No doubt about it Palin is far more popular than

Actually if you know the math or the method, PID controllers, you would not expect the media to have a liberal bias (not enough liberal complaints). The bias is actually to the right. Now this is because the size and activity of the interest groups in the US.

For example there is a sizeable minority, and illegal alien population in the US but catering to their interests, which is percieved as liberal, is actually nothing of the kind, since they are no more liberal than the rest of the US population.

The bias in the media is to appear fair and balanced to the population. That is not necessarily one or the other. The drift is towards the population that makes the largest, most credible complaints, rational or no.

Now the intelligent thing to do is try to read both sides of the story and used logic to decide; only a few do that anymore.

A very well written analysis. We (all of us) regardless on being left, right, or in-between must placed our country and what it represents in the forefront. We must place emphasis on little government, personal responsibility, and allowing those who work and follow the American dream to keep what they have earned. If Palin is the only one who lives and breathes this philosophy, then it is time that we support and not deride the only person who is willing to make changes that we all can believe in, and not just changes for the power-hungry elitist that wish to control every aspect of our life.

Alberto, que pasa muchacho. In accordance to your definition of a "so-called advocates of "tolerance" , you must be one too or you would not have used the word "hate" so much hermano! You hate too much! You sound like a birther, a tea bagger, a lunatic. America is made up of Canada, U.S. Mexico, Central America and South America. We are all part of the "international Community." I do believe that those who "sold" us off were of the "conservative" party. Know your history. And, by the way, Dobbs doesn't like your kind.

I couldn't agree more with the writer's observations and was shocked to see this even included in a Southern California publication (web or otherwise). Despite the left's unceasing (and mistaken) attacks on this normal American woman, her popularity is already rivaling B.Hussein Obama's! Is that such a shock? I think not..you go Girl!!!!
