Taylor Swift received another award when she was voted “Associated Press Entertainer of the Year.” The 20-year-old country singer was selected by newspaper editors and broadcast producers in a survey of AP members. Previous winners were Tina Fey in 2008 and Stephen Colbert in 2007.

In an interview with AP, Swift said,
"I am so honored and so excited. This was so unexpected, and I could not be more grateful."
Among other things, Swift won album of the year from the Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards. She hosted "Saturday Night Live" and performed at the Grammys. She also won five American Music Awards, including artist of the year. At one time, she had eight songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
May we all appreciate the talent of this young artist and realize that we are all capable of finding our gifts and sharing them with the world as Taylor Swift has done.
