Although police have labeled the death of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair a murder-suicide, there are still questions to be answered. McNair was married. He was not seperated and had not filed for divorce from his wife Mechele. Yet, friends of Kazemi said that he told her he was leaving his wife for her. Haven't we just gone through this with a few governors and other politicians? At least they got out before they got shot.
Steve McNair was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds. 20 year-old Sahel Kazemi was also found dead at the Nashville, Tennessee condo. McNair had several bullet wounds, and Kazemi was found with a single shot to the head.
McNair was 36 and played 13 seasons before retiring in April 2008. He was married to Mechelle McNair. and they had four sons. A police spokesman said authorities were still investigating the shootings and questioning everyone with any possible involvement or motive.
Police officers responded at the scene after receiving a call about injured persons inside the condo. When they arrived at the site, they found a man and woman shot to death inside the residence. The condominium is one that McNair often used.
In June, McNair opened a restaurant near the Tennessee State University campus. It was closed Saturday evening, but it had become a small memorial, with flowers, candles and notes placed outside the door.
On the restaurant's windows were messages: "We will miss you Steve" and "We love you Steve."
May Steve McNair and all who have recently passed on have a smooth transition to whatever is next for them. And may we all recognize that life is precious and can end at any moment

Well! The guy was publicly disrespectful to his wife and children. He had no problem establishing a public record by putting the Escalade both in his and the girls name. Chances are he was paying for it. He seemed very gutsy publicly running around and taking pictures with a 20 yr old naive girl who thought she would convince him to divorce his wife at a snap shot. May be somebody can learn from this. That sometimes, it's just not cool playing around with a woman's emotions. Not all women are equal, each woman has a unique way of dealing with a situation. However! one, especially a mature grown superstar, should know better that burden that comes with dating a young girl who's just weaning from being a teenager. July 4th is a day to spend with family; even if he had problems with his wife, that's a day he ought to have been spending with his boys, not with some good for nothing young girl whose only way of creating a life for herself is, hang'ing on married men. It stinks. I'm sorry!
I don't think it is about getting what one deserves as much as it is being in the wrong place, with the wrong person and doing the wrong things...count on it, when a person does such...bad things happen.
I feel so bad for his wife and kids. I can only imagine the gamut of emotions his wife must be going through.

I hope someone explores her family's possible connection to this because I believe it is unlikely that a young dumb 20 yo would kill him just because she may not be getting her way as fast as she would like. She had more with him alive. I remember watching an episode of Law & Order, and seeing "Crossing Over" starring Harrison Ford.....both shed light on how Iranian fathers handle their bad behaving and "disgraceful" daughters. They have them murdered to keep the family from shame. Just my 2 cents.
It's interesting the this 20yr. old's EX boyfriend was the first to sound off to the media, and what's STRANGE is the friend of Steve, who co-owns the Condo; to call another friend before Calling 911. Was he that distraught, if he was not the killer, that he could not have called. Maybe he and this chick had something going on too....for him to just show up because he thought Steve might need him. STRANGE.

And how was McNair a "Menace to Society"? Up until this point he was considered as a model athlete and a great community individual. Up until this point he had zero controversy on his record. I am in no way saying this is acceptable behavior, but lets not make it seem like he has been some kind of monster for years and years.
This is sad on so many levels. First, the media keeps referring to this woman as his girlfriend. She was not a girlfriend, she was his Mistress. Steve McNair is a married man and therefore, was not in a position to be dating and naming someone a girlfriend.
Secondly, there are a number of people who are suffering -namely his wife and four young sons who will now grow up in a household with a single African-American female (another devastating statistic) that does not have a father/husband figure.
Third, we all sin and fall short of the Glory of God. However, we also are accountable for our actions and this is an unfortunate way to become accountable. Let's not judge this man for making some very "stupid" decisions, and just pray that is soul is with God.
Finally, let's pray for his family as this is going to get really messy and I can just see all the dirt coming out over the next week and the only people who will be hurt are his wife and children.
Taking someone's life is never justified regardless of the situation. Selfishly, one can say that he deserved to die, but is it ok for a wife and kids to suffer...no! Yes, he was wrong for cheating on his wife, but he did not deserve to be murdered...no one does. How quickly some forget about all the things he done right (summer camps, coach for his kids baseball team, donating to tornado victims, being a real down to earth guy..etc). How soon one forget about the extraordinary things a person has accomplished and replaces it with one wrong. He who has not sinned throw the first stone...still waiting!!!

You know, "Just Looking From The Outside" said it best without a lot of additional drama.....Had he not been cheating, none of this would've ever happened. If he wasn't happy in his marriage, he should have ended it so he could've been "FREE" to love someone else and for someone else to love him. There are so many different possibilities for "Motives" because seemingly, almost everyone effected could have one. I hate that two lives were ended and consequently multiple lives were forever changed. July 4th takes on a whole new meaning in regards to "FIREWORKS" for these two families. I can only hope that a lesson can be learned from this tragedy so other lives don't have to replicate what's happened here. Just from what is being eloquently released....it's inevitable that there is so much more to this story and that a lot more secrets will be found out before this is over. There's no telling when the grieving process can even begin. I pray for all that is involved and effected.

I am not a RACIST!!! But what I am gathering from this situation that the young lady is of middle-eastern descent and there have been several instances were there fathers (or family member) have killed the spouse or love interest if they are not of the same race or of fair skin color. They will kill their daughter because the shame is too great for them. I would not be surprised if this was a family member or an ex-boyfriend that kill them.

I wonder if this isn't the only girl McNair has had after retiring from NFL? Pro players have so many women after them it's crazy. It's very hard for them to kick the habit of sleeping with many women and then all of a sudden stay faithfull with their wife. Pray for McNair's wife and children to heal and forgive him.
McNair also played with a 20-year old's emotions and mind. The girl was on cloud 9, her heart was in the relationship seriously, a famous pro player-McNair, MONEY-say good bye to Dave and Busters. She had HIGH HOPES and put all her young mind, emotions and trust in him. He shouldn't have toyed with a young girl and she got played. It's sad and I think she went bersirk when she realized all she hoped for was somehow who knows either a lie and she was getting the short end of the stick. Totally devasting to a female so young, it really is, but not enough for some to kill and person. You never know what make someone in LOVE crack up. Pray for McNair's wife and four precious sons that they forgive him.
When someone finds out their spouse has committed adultry or is cheating, it can ignite an animalistic side of rage. It is a extreme form of cruelty and betrayal that can get a person hurt or even killed. It's nothing to play with because its is fire! Stay faithful with your spouse!
FOREVER-I thought the same thing when I found out the 20-year old was an Iranian. Her family probably would not kill her for being with McNair because he is black, because there are black musliums in the middle east and here in the America. However, if McNair was a white American male then, YEAH THERE WOULD BE SOME SERIOUS TROUBLE GOING TOWARD THEM! Also there would have been trouble if she was from India, for sure McNair would be in trouble, if she had a family who got upset enough to kill.
Finally, and I going to bed! Please pray or have a moment in silence for McNair's soul, Mrs. McNair and their children broken hearts, for Mrs. McNair to maintain in good health, strength to see her through losing a husband and an unfaithful one too, that's a double dose added to her broken heart. Pray for the 20-year old Iranian and her family, McNairs Relatives. I personally do not agree that he deserved to die regardless of what the reason. No one has to right to take soething that they can not give. I sympathize with both families during their time of bereavement and understand that no one is perfect. It is for God to judge people not us. His charity work may have been admirable and his talent may have sparked the attention of many fans, but what you do in the dark will come to the light! I am very family oriented and believe that he should have been with his wife and kids and all this would not have happened. I do hope that his children grow up and can submit themselves to one woman and not live a double life and let this tragic accident be a lessoned learned because he could have brought Aids home to his wife and took himself and thier mother away sleeping and creeping around did not pay off.

I really don't care about McNair or Kazemi. My heart goes out to his wife and four sons and what they have to live with because their father and husband was STUPID. All the good in the world that he did is overshadowed by this creepy lifestyle he chose and the way his life was brought to an end. I can only imagine how brokenhearted his wife and children are and will be for a LONG time!! What a legacy to leave to his sons.
