A sequined glove worn by Michael Jackson during his 1984 Victory Tour brought in $70,800 at an auction of entertainment memorabilia. Another bidder paid $106,200 for a Martin D-28 guitar played by Elvis Presley during his last Las Vegas performance.
Other Hollywood and the music industry memorabilia sold at an auction in Los Angeles by Profiles in History included a bullwhip used by Harrison Ford in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" for $56,050 and a full-scale Velociraptor model from "Jurassic Park" which sold for $76,700.
So, although the economy is in trouble for most of the world, there are still people and corporations who can afford the unique, big ticket items. May we all realize the true abundance that that is available to every human once we shift from weaponry to livingry.
