Sony has purchased the rights to approximately one hundred hours of raw video rehearsal footage from Michael Jackson's final days. The video showcases Michael Jackson preparing for his upcoming London concert series as well as performing both old and new material. Fifty concerts were planned before Jackson's June 25th death.
After placing an initial $50 million dollar bid for the rights to the video against Paramount and Universal, Sony ultimately secured the footage for an estimated $60 million. Sony is developing a movie that is scheduled for release on October 30.
May we all continue to enjoy and appreciate the peace and joy Michael Jackson brought to this world. And may each of us find our unique talent and share it as he did so marvelously.

Look like he was in shape to me. I am sure going to miss his performances. What a tragedy! Debbie Rowe is a deadbeat mom.

All you want is money and you prove it by attempting to release something in October... October?! Which would mean no time or effort would be put into it. When the world knows who I am... the world will too know who Sony truly is. And I will make sure of it, not just for the King of MUSIC, Michael Jackson, but for justice. And another thing (anti-sony) Debbie Rowe is an evil squat of slime, mold, and mildew, and she will be tormented and tortured for life if she keeps haunting Michael Jackson's children. She is a deadbeat mom and she is also money hungry. We know what you're really after, and it's not the children. If anyone has any sense they would give myself and the rest of the world peace of mind and let the children be in the hands of the Michael Jackson's family. R.I.P. OK - someone in the media has got to do an investigation of what's going on with SONY. Didn't MJ and Sony have a fight around 2001 over publishing rights, and as a result Michael's INvincible album didn't get promoted like it should have, his "All I Have to Give" single didn't get promoted at all (a real shame because he did it all for charity), and MJ spoke out publicly against Sony calling Tommy Motolla (spelling??) a racist. And now Sony has purchased the rights to the last 100 hours of his rehearsal footage and they are going to promote it and make a story of it. Something smells very fishy here. Could Sony have something to do with MJ's death? You media people should look into this. Why the sudden interest of Sony in MJ now, when 8 years ago, they turned their back on him?
jackson brought chaos and paranoia into every home with teens idolizing his career. His talent was undeniable, but like athletes who set bad examples of "what not to be as a man,father,and high profile so called icon,"he was reckless,a child molester who paid damage control money, though not officially convicted! That is blatent guilt.! His antics with his new born proved he never was comfortable in his skin suit and attempted to morph into some thing near freakish,that is no excuse ,he was a drug addict and spoiled rotten by success.....well i'll take prince over his so called "greatness" any day! Though eccentric, Prince is the real deal and always maintained integriety as a professional musician....an example of what to do and what you can be...exactly the opposite of the Wacko Jacko legacy! They should bury him in secrecy so his grave isn't violated! He did nothing for children except make all of us wonder why he was not prosecuted and jailed!
