James Owen Sullivan (a.k.a. The Rev) drummer for Avenged Sevenfold dead of natural causes at his home in Orange County, CA. Avenged Sevenfold issued the following statement:
"It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly, he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time."
The Orange County Register reported that Sullivan was found dead at his home on Monday (December 28). He was 28 years old.
Huntington Beach police Lt. John Domingo told The Orange County Register that Sullivan appears to have died of natural causes.

that's so sad. :( i love avenged sevenfold. and i feel bad for his family and his band mates. i hope they can be happy again eventually
RIP Jimmy. Such a horrible thing to happen. He was a kick ass drummer and he will always be. He'll be truely missed.
