The GALA Hispanic Theatre, in the spotlight
Hispanic Heritage Month spans September and October (it is September 15-October 15), so if you have not really had the opportunity to celebrate it yet, that is okay. There is still time.
Until October 11, you can see the U.S. premiere of Lucid at the GALA Hispanic Theatre. This is the tale that tackles a subject that transcends language and culture: family dysfunction. Lucas tries to avoid his very-real dysfunctional family (including a mother who would like to take back the kidney she donateed to him) by escaping into his dreamworld

A visit to the National Museum of the American Indian is always a good idea, especially during Hispanic Heritage Month. The museum examines the history and lives of Native Americans from all the Americas, including Central and South America.
