Planet Xpo has been presenting “Out Of This World” events (Beam Me Up, Scotty...One Last Time Tribute to James Doohan, Star Trek: The Show That Changed The World Gala 40th Anniversary Celebration and the Great Bird Of The Galaxy Tribute To Gene Roddenberry) since 2003. On October 15, 2010 Planet Xpo producer will present Hollywood Xpo, the first annual multimedia, popular culture convention for fans of science fiction, fantasy, horror, film, TV, comics, online entertainment, literature and music.

Iconic comic super hero Stan Lee (known to millions as the man who super heroes propelled Marvel Comics to a preeminent position in the comic book industry and co-creator of Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men and the Fantastic Four), and legendary science fiction and fantasy author Ray Bradbury (known for his masterworks “Fahrenheit 451”, “The Martian Chronicles, “Something Wicked This Way Comes”) are scheduled to appear at the HollywoodXpo along with over 100 other stars!

There will be with a free pre-opening day screening of “Star Trek”: Of Gods & Men” on Thursday night October 14th 8:00pm. Friday’s events, include an on-stage reunion of actors & crew from the film “Star Trek: Of Gods & Men” including Walter Koenig (Chekov), Nichelle Nichols (Uhura), Grace Lee Whitney (Rand), as well as Alan Ruck (Captain John Harriman~Generations), Tim Russ (Tovok~Voyager) and more!

On Saturday, Stan Lee will be making a rare on-stage appearance. Ray Bradbury, will also take center stage along with the cast and crew of Ray’s latest movie adaptation “Crysalis”.

If you like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, then you won’t want to miss the reunion happening with Alan Ruck (Cameron), Cindy Pickett (Mrs. Bueller), and Edie McClurg (Grace)
during the convention!

Other celebrities scheduled to appear over the weekend include Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), Eric Roberts (the Expendables), John Savage (The Deer Hunter), Erin Moran (Happy Days), Catherine Hicks (7th Heaven), Laraine Newman (Saturday Night Live), and many more!

In addition to celebrity on-stage appearances, Hollywood Xpo will feature photo opportunities with celebrity guests, autographs at the Walk Of Fame, Artists Alley of artists offering demonstrations of their work and much more!

One of the many highlights of the conventions are the filmmaking workshops that are being offered with award-winning directors, cameramen, makeup artists, screenwriters, actors and more!
