On Saturday, October 3rd, Irvington author, Jan Flexon, had a book signing party at Bookmamas to celebrate the release of her new book of poetry, Words Are Electric But Not Always Static Free (New Century Publishing).
As a bonus, each book purchase included a CD (Little Mountain Press) of Jan performing the poems from her book with original music provided by The Dancin' Nancys.
The book signing party was well attended by both well wishers and curious visitors coming into Bookmamas.

Bookmamas in the heart Irvington is one of the few remaining independent book sellers in Indianapolis. This eclectic little shop routinely hosts book signings by Irvington and other Indiana authors. It features a broad variety of hard-to-find books by Indiana authors. It also has a substantial offering of books about Irvington.
