Established in 1980, Skipper's Smokehouse has become one of Tampa Bay's best known venues for live music, hosting an endless lineup of both local and national acts.
In addition to great live music, Skipper's also offers some of the best smokehouse-style food in Tampa Bay. The menu features tasty items such as Jerk Chicken, Smoked BBQ Spare Ribs, Smoke Mullet and Buffalo Wings. They also offer a wide variety of seafood choices that includes fresh oysters on the half shell, crawfish, catfish sandwiches, smoked fish dip and clam strips. If you're thirsty, the bar offers a long list of bottled and draft beer, as well as a decent wine selection.
