Some women feel like nesting during their third trimester. However, there are women that want to take "one last trip." If that last trip is a cruise there may be complications.
Most cruise lines have strict policies about women who are in their third trimester of pregnancy. Royal Caribbean International does not allow women who have entered, or will be entering, their 24th week of pregnancy to cruise.
In fact, Royal Caribbean International, requires all pregnant women to provide a physician's "Fit to Travel" note stating that they are in good health, not a high risk pregnancy, and not entering the 24th week is required. The amount of weeks the guest will be on the day of sailing is required.
So, if pregnant and thinking about a cruise, make sure to check with the cruise line about their policy regarding pregnancy. Cruise Buzz from Cruise Holidays of Mission Viejo is available to answer any questions.
