Silversea Cruises passenger found after falling overboard

Just as it was thought that overboard passengers were beginning to slow down, another one was found near Port Everglades, Florida. Fortunately, the passenger, Ronald Shulman, 62 years old, fell over the Silversea Cruises Silver Shadow around 3 a.m. on Sunday morning. The Silver Shadow was scheduled to arrive in Fort Lauderdale at Port Everglades on Sunday.

Shulman was spotted by a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter around 7:45 this morning clinging to a life boat that was lowered by the crew of the Silver Shadow after they were alerted to his whereabouts.

Wonder if we'll find out the "rest of the story?" How does someone fall overboard? I still can't figure it out... He is one lucky man to have survived!

Wow close call. What is the height on these cruise guardrails?

Not sure if we will hear the rest of the story, but I will be looking for it.

As for the guardrails, I am not sure how high they are on Silversea. However, I do think that they are high enough for someone to not fall over, unless they were trying to do something foolish.

Wow didn't hear this story I was on a cruise to Cozumel. Glad we didn't see anything about it while we on the ship.

Wonder how he managed to fall overboard. Good news that he was found so quickly.

He didn't fall overboard, he planned it for a lawsuit. Who do you contact to
share this information with to see if it is true?
