Lindsay Lohan sued over tanning spray Sevin Nyne

Lindsay Lohan has been sued by a St. Petersburg, Florida chemist, Jennifer Sunday. The suit filed in Tampa federal court claims that Lindsay Lohan and her business partner, Lorit Simon, stole the self tanning formula for the product, Sevin Nyne, from Sunday. Lindsay Lohan has been selling the product and claims that she and Lorit created it together. Simon is a professional tanning artist to celebrities and has been spraying on Lindsay Lohan’s golden glow for several years, using an airbrush technique. She and Lohan claim to have created the tanner for the past three years. Jennifer Sunday begs to differ.

According to the federal lawsuit, Sunday states that she was working with Simon to create the product and that the business deal fell through. After requiring Simon to sign a confidentiality agreement, Sunday was outraged to see the product hit store shelves in May.

St. Petersburg attorney Marcia Cohen represents Jennifer Sunday. is quoted as saying, "We are certainly looking for the profits that are being generated right now from that product," Cohen said Monday. "If Ms. Lohan and Ms. Simon and their companies and their shareholders are profiting from the theft of my client's formula and are profiting from that product, my client is entitled to those proceeds."

Sevin Nyne is available online, at Sephora, and in Tampa malls, such as International Shopping Plaza.  It retails for $35.00 and promises you a tan comparable to those of celebrities. If the case goes to trial, Lindsay Lohan will most likely be required to come to Florida to testify.
