The Internet has been buzzing about the name of Chris Coleman’s girlfriend, Tara Lintz for some time now, but today, it has been released into the mainstream media. Reports have surfaced, including search warrants that shows that Chris Coleman had told Tara Lintz that he was planning to divorce his wife, Sheri Coleman and that the two were planning on being married in 2010. (Read the reports here: warning they containg graphic language)The reports also state that Coleman had told Tara Lintz that he had an alibi for the murders, he had spoke with her the evening prior to the strangulations.
Tara Lintz was a high school friend of Sheri Coleman’s as well as the Coleman family. It has been alleged that during ministry trips for Joyce Meyer, Chris Coleman would visit with Tara Lintz on the side. Reports state that their relationship became sexual in November 2008, just two months before the first ‘threatening’ letters surfaced at the home of Chris Coleman, and six months prior to the fateful morning of May 5, 2009, where Sheri Coleman, Garret Coleman, and Gavin Coleman met their traumatic fate while being strangled to death in their beds.
The reports also revealed that items seized during a search of the home include a receipt from Home Depot purchased July 29, 2008 that was for spray paint; a cassette tape was seized from a home surveillance system, as well as a boarding pass for American Airlines. It has been reported that Tara Lintz and Chris Coleman communicated through cell phone, E-Mail, and social networking sites such as Facebook (Tara Lintz’ Facebook account has been closed for several weeks now); after the murders, Chris Coleman allegedly opened a new Email account to communicate with Tara. Once she received the E-mail, reports state that she spoke with detectives and has been cooperative with detectives regarding the case. Other items seized from the home include:
- Four bales of hay
- Orange twine that was found behind the home, wrapped around the bales of hay; orange twine was found knotted, in the shape of a noose alongside I-255
- Two threatening letters, one dated January 1, 2009 the other dated April 27, 2009 just eight days before the murders.
Sheri Coleman was found naked in her bed, when police answered a ‘welfare check’ call placed by her husband, Chris Coleman. Medical records state that rigor mortis had already set in her body, which signifies that the time of death was placed between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Much earlier than the time that Chris Coleman states that he left the home for a workout at a local gym. Chris Coleman has been charged with three counts of murder in the first degree and is being held without bond.

What a good friend Sheri had in Tara Lintz.
Hope Tara's life is ruined. She should be a poster child for the "other" women out there. I know it takes two to tango, but really, get your own guy. What a cheap person you have to be to go after a "friends" husband.

Did I miss something somewhere? In what report did they say that he killed his wife and sons because of the affair? I know he was having an affair, but when did they say that was the MOTIVE for the murders? They have not released all the information, so therefore, we should not be judging right at the moment...isn't that Gods job, to do the judging?
