John "Jack" Pretti, is a retired US Army officer and served over 40 years in law enforcement and management. He was a member of the Criminal Investgation Command (CID) in Southeast Asia convicting several military in logistical fraud and subject of the book, "The Kahki Mafia" by Robin Moore. He was the first Course Director for the CID's school on Logistical Fraud. He also was chief LE Instructor in Europe for Central Texas College. He ended his military career as the Director of Plans, Operations and Security of a military training post in Germany. He has authored several published magazine articles in Guns and Ammo, US Army Training, Police Magazine, Sports Car and the Military Officer Association.
