Hampton police have arrested George Roosevelt Butts Sr., 55, and charged him with the sexual assault of a 79-year-old woman. The alleged attack occurred last week at a nursing home in Hampton.
According to police, an eyewitness reported Butts fondling the woman.
Both Butts and the victim live at the facility.
In order to protect the victim’s identity, the name of the nursing home has not been released.
Butts is being held without bond at the Hampton City Jail.
